Please note that the registration process for 2019 has now changed. Previously, all players had to use the now defunct “MyFootballClub”. From this year, players must now use “PlayFootball”.
The PlayFootball system has been newly introduced by the FFA in order to streamline the registration process; making it both simpler and faster for you the user.
If you are unsure on how to register, or are having difficulties during the process, please follow this link to watch a helpful video on how to use the new system.
At the end of 2018, Hills Football created sub committees that all 20 clubs participated in. The clubs were asked to recommend and vote on changes to the 2019 winter competition. The below changes will be in effect for this year:
- Under 12 girls will play on the same size fields as under 12 boys. Therefore in 2019 all under 12 girls will play on a full size field with 11 players. The under 12 girls will play competitive football with tables and finals.
- Over 35 ladies will be eligible to cross their arms and protect their chests in defensive positions. Further by-laws regarding this will be released in due time.
- There will be an allowance for each team in the over 35 ladies competitions to register a maximum of three (3) ladies who are under the age of 35, but over the age of 30. This is to encourage more ladies to play the world game.
- The highest division of football for ladies will be referred to as Ladies Division 1.
- The age group for ladies and girls in 2019 will be: U9s, U11s, U12s, U13s, U15s, Youth Girls (U16-18), All Age Ladies and Over 35 Ladies.
- For non-competitive age groups (11s and under), no matches will be played in the middle weekends of the School Holidays. These age groups will play 18 rounds during the season.
- The “Sin Bin” rule will be implemented to all age groups of 16 and over.
