The Hills Football Player Pathway continues to demonstrate its commitment to developing young talent and fostering a strong football community. As we look at the progress in 2024, the numbers reflect the significant impact and growth of the Player Pathway within the Hills.
133 Little Legends into HFI Member Clubs
The foundational step in the Hills Football Player Pathway is the HF Development Little Legends Program, designed to introduce football to players between the ages of 3 to 5. The HF Development Little Legends Program serves as the starting point for their football journey, providing them with the essential skills and a love for the game that will carry them forward.
This Season, 133 enthusiastic players, from our Hills Football Development Little Legends Program, have taken the next step in their Football Development Journey and have joined our HFI Member Clubs.
320 Players in Academy from HFI Member Clubs
The Hills Football Development Academy continues to be a critical component for player development. In Term 2 of 2024, we have seen an impressive 320 players from HFI Member Clubs enrolled in the Academy. This represents the growing opportunities for players within the Hills District to receive additional training and development opportunities.
22 Players Transition to Pathway Programs
This year, 22 players have successfully transitioned from the Academy to pathway programs, marking a crucial step in their football development journey and player pathway. Pathway Programs run by our Representative Club Hills United, provide opportunities for players aged 9+ to play in Football NSW Competitions.
