HILLS 6s PRIMARY SCHOOL FOOTBALL GALA DAY
Hills Football comprises of 20 member clubs, Over 13,000 Winter Players, over 3,000 Summer Players, over 350 referees, over 1,000 coaches, and thousands of volunteers all a part of ONE COMMUNITY.
Hills Football invites primary schools from all over the Hills District to take place in a 6 v 6 non-competitive football gala day! The day will be filled with games and off-field activities to keep participants engaged. Being a non-competitive tournament, Hills Football encourages students of all experience and ability levels to participate.
The Hills 6s Primary School Football Gala Day intends to promote the continued growth of football in the Hills District, extending the outreach of our sport to Primary Schools! Bringing together current players and new players the Hills 6s Primary School Football Gala Day will showcase the enjoyment, inclusiveness, and togetherness football provides as a sport.
The Hills 6s Primary School Football Gala Day is FREE for all Primary Schools within Hills Football.
The Hills Football Association boundaries start in the South with suburbs such as Carlingford and North Rocks moving across to Northmead and Winston Hills. Moving further North the boundary includes suburbs such as Box Hill, and Glenorie right up at the top end. 2023 TOURNAMENT DETAILS
The inaugural Hills 6s Primary Schools Football Gala Day will take place in Week 9 of Term 2, 2023 at the brand-new Balmoral Road Reserve Sports Complex, Kellyville. Please see below for the respective days:
Tuesday 20th of June – Junior Girls (Years 3 & 4) & Senior Girls (Years 5 & 6)
Wednesday 21st of June – Junior Boys (Years 3 & 4) & Senior Boys (Years 5 & 6)
All players on the same team must wear a matching jersey. This could be your Primary School Sports Uniform or a privately sourced jersey. Please note, numbers on the back of jerseys are not necessary. The goalkeeper can be identified by wearing a separate jersey or by wearing a bib.
Teams must have a minimum of 7 players with a maximum of 9 per team.
Please remember, this is a non-competitive tournament, therefore wins/points will not be tracked. Prizes and awards will be rewarded to Schools throughout the day for different categories.
Each school can nominate as many teams as they see fit, it is recommended that each School should attempt to register one team in all four divisions.
