Friday nights the girls take over at Bella Vista Public School (BVPS). But come Friday 23rd October there was one significant difference…..
This week saw the Hills Football – Girls Skill Acquisition Phase (GSAP) Under 13’s and Hills United FC – Girls Conference League (GCL) Under 14’s come together for a game. This was an excellent opportunity for the Under 13’s to get a taste of the 11-a-side game. Having only experienced this once previously this season, due to the GSAP competition being 10v10. The Under 14’s set out to ensure the younger girls respected their elders!
The game was played in great spirits and some really impressive football on show. The GSAP girls now move forwards to their last week of training with the GSAP wrapping up their season with the final game Sunday 1st November. 2020 GSAP has been an outstanding success, with some strong football development across all age groups (Under 10’s – Under 13’s). We look forward to watching these future budding footballers progress on their football journey. Who knows who might be the next W League or Matilda??
