With Female Football participation numbers on the rise in Australia, Hills Football is proud to run programs and initiatives to get more Females involved in the game for all abilities and ages.
Hills Football hosted a Free Girls only session for Females of all ages with over 80 players participating. The aim of the session was to provide Females the opportunity to participate in an hour session in a fun learning environment to develop skills and enjoy playing the game.
Hills Football Female Football Manager Aroon Clansey commented ” It was great to see so many girls from the ages of 5-46 register and participate in the session. It goes to show that we have a lot of Female players who are wanting to develop and play Football”.
The session was also very unique in that all of the Coaching staff that we experienced female coaches and role models from both Hills Football and FNSW. Trudy Burke from FNSW Commented “FNSW were proud top be apart of such a great event. The number of female players that came along to the event was amazing and was enjoyed by all. Fantastic work from the Association promoting women’s football in the area”.
