Community Coaching Courses
Hills Football and Member Clubs recognise the importance of Coaching and the positive influence that good coaching has on our youth players, both for technical ability and for the enjoyment of football. Member Clubs are required to use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that their Coaches of division 1 youth teams and coaches within MiniRoos & MiniTildas age groups have obtained an approved qualification commensurate with the age group and or age grade they are coaching.
Hills Football is committed to improving the development of youth players via appropriately accredited coaches and will provide coaching courses throughout each season and each pre-season open to all affiliated Member Club’s so Member Clubs have every opportunity to upskill their coaches.
The courses are short, easily accessible and low-cost. The courses are heavily practical-based learning i.e. on the training field versus theory in a classroom, these courses focus almost exclusively on the “training” pillar of the Coaching Expertise Model.
