Hills Football is continually searching for casual Football Coaches to help deliver and support our programs around the district. In line with the expansion and growth of Hills Football community programs, we are searching for the next generation of coaches who would like to be the forefront of coaching in the Hills. Hills Football offers various employment opportunities for coaches to be a part of more than just one of our programs as seen below.
MiniRoos Kick-Off Coach
An introductory program taught in a supportive environment for boys and girls aged 3-5. This program builds skills through progressive drills and games with a focus on fundamental movement. Hills Football delivers weekly sessions in childcare centres across the district along with our local community football clubs.
Grassroots Football Coach
Grassroots football is small-sided games for players aged 5-9, here the coach implements fun-based practices that are safe, organised, enjoyable and engaging to foster a love for the game in kids. Hills Football delivers these programs in local primary schools to promote an enjoyable football experience whilst encouraging kids to play football.
Academy Coach
The Hills Football Academy provides local Hills footballers the opportunity to increase their skills and time on the ball. The program includes the principles of play in both attack and defence while activating the four core skills which include first touch, striking the ball, running with the ball and 1 V 1. Hills Football delivers weekly sessions at various locations targeting boys and girls aged 7-12.
The 2019 Amateur Coach Development Camp will allow participants to see these types of programs live face to face along with walking away with two Football Federation Australia (FFA) Community Coaching Certificates. The Camp will be led by Hills Footballs very own Football Development Manager Zac Ribeiro who holds an FFA C Licences and is a qualified FFA community coach presenter. The camp will be set over three packed football days of both theory and practical training components.
