Hills Football has announced a restructure for the Men’s Premier League Competitions for 2018.
Hills Football has identified a need to promote and develop talented players within each club. However we cannot sustain a 20 squad Premier League 1 and 2 competition in our infancy.
We have identified there needs to be a link between U16/18/21 age groups and Men’s Premier League 1.
Hills Football has acknowledged that the Men’s Premier League 1 competition must be a 10 team Home and Away competition with the best talent within the association playing in this competition.
Due to the above reasons, in 2018 there will be a 10 team Mens PL1 competition (Squad based) and a Premier Youth League Competition.
Premier League 1
- – 10 teams (First Grade & Reserve Grade)
- – Teams to play twice in a home and away season
- – Top four teams in each division progress through to the finals series
- – Premier League Shield:
- – Accumulated First Grade Points are worth Double Points
- – Accumulated Reserve Grade points are with Single Points
Premier Youth League
- – Single Teams (non Squad based)
- – Player age limit of 21 years old
- – Each team is permitted to have 4 overage players on the team sheet (registered to that team only)
- – Premier Youth League to have the same rules and regulations of the Men’s Premier League 1
- – Top four teams progress through to the finals series
- – teams with all registered players under the age of 21 and 18 will be eligible for the Champion of Champions tournament*
All Age Men’s
In 2018, the All Age Mens divisions will begin at Division 3 and move through to Division 13.
*C of C places are at the discretion of Hills Football
