The 2026 season concludes this weekend with the completion of the Grand Finals. The Hills Football Association would like to thank everyone who helped make the Association’s 10th season another successful year.
Thank you to all the players for your commitment throughout the season. Thank you for your effort in training, your competitiveness on game day, and for representing every club across the region with pride and passion.
A special thank you goes to the coaches and team managers. Much of what happens each week is made possible by the work that takes place behind the scenes. From organising training, managing teams, communicating with families and supporting the players throughout the season. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated.
We also acknowledge our referees and match officials, who play an essential role in keeping our competitions running. Thank you for giving your time and helping to ensure that matches are conducted fairly and respectfully.
To the committee members, volunteers and club officials at all our 20 member clubs. Thank you for your work that often goes unnoticed. From organising fixtures and registrations to preparing grounds and managing match days, a significant amount of work is required to keep our clubs operating and, in turn, the entire association.
Finally, thank you to the parents, carers, and supporters who continue to get behind their teams throughout the season. Your support, whether on the sideline or behind the scenes, is an important part of our footballing family.
While results and competition are an important part of football, our focus remains on giving players the opportunity to participate, improve, and enjoy the game in a positive environment.
We hope everyone has a well-deserved break and comes back ready for another season next year. Thank you to everyone who has played a part not just this year, but in 10 years of the Hills Football Association, and who has helped transform it into the thriving, growing association it is today. We look forward to seeing you all back on the field next season.
