Premier League Preview – Sydney North West FC

In 2017, The Hills Football Premier League Mens 1 competition will see 8 teams battle it out for the honors of our inaugural champion. Leading into round 1, we will be previewing each of the teams.

Sydney North West FC, the new boys on the block had a very impressive first season in 2016.

In the second year of the clubs history, SNW are shaping up to improve on their impressive debut season. The squad has changed considerably in the off season with 18 new recruits pulling on the red & black strip. The inclusion of head coach Gary Hibbert will steady the ship and push SNW to its limits.

SNW has recruited some strong players including Peter Crouch’s dopelganger up front, Andrew Dind as well as alot of experience from higher levels. The clubs leading goalscorer in 2016 Stevan Ignjatovic has returned with a point to prove alongside club captain Michael Fossano. There is depth in every position and the is a lot of competition in the squad for places. We are looking forward to taking on a youthful Castle Hill united in round 1! Don’t be surprised if you see SNW at the pointy end of the table come round 18. A top 4 finish in both grades is an absolute minimum.
