Winston Hills get Grand Final Revenge, whilst the Goats end Slump
Sydney North West have ended their horror run with a 1-0 win over top four contenders Castle Hill United. The win was much needed by the Goats, and came against a tough opposition who had have conceded less than a goal per game in 2018. It leaves Sydney North West within a win of said opponents who sit third on the ladder after round six.
Winston Hills and Kellyville Kolts remain first and second respectively after both registered important wins. The Kolts beat the in-form Norwest in a tough 2-1 victory, whilst Winston Hills got revenge with a 2-0 against Kenthurst, who beat them in last year’s Grand Final by the same score-line.
It leaves the top two more than a game from their nearest challenges; a healthy gap given the early stage of the season.
