Hills Referees Begin Preparation for Finals Football with a Two Hour Seminar

Monday 12th, August Hills Football Referees began their preparation for finals hosting their annual finals seminar at Valentine Sports Park.

Coming towards the end of the competition, teams would have started to prepare for their finals and the referees had to do start preparing as well.

A staggering 150 referees attended the night to go through an intense 2 hour seminar with special guest Kris Griffiths-Jones who presented to Hills Football on the importance of communication when working as a team.

Hills Football Referees followed by going through all the competition regulations and additional formalities that are associated with finals football in detail.

The referees have now been in preparation for finals football for the last two weeks to ensure they can prepare as much as possible to get ready for the big moments. The referees will be monitored on their performance throughout the final series with mentors being around the grounds to provide feedback.
