The 2024 winter football season presented its fair share of challenges, with wet weather playing a significant role in disrupting the schedule. Persistent rain led to numerous match cancellations, forcing clubs and teams to adapt quickly. The determination of our football community shone through as catch-up matches were organised and played with impressive resilience. Despite the setbacks, players, coaches, and volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that every team had the opportunity to complete their season.
A special mention must go out to Castle Hill United, Hills Spirit FC, and Kellyville Kolts for their exceptional efforts in hosting the grand finals. Your hospitality and organisation were exemplary, providing the perfect stage for our members to showcase their skills and celebrate the culmination of a fantastic season.
