After 20 weeks of competitive play, Grand Final weekend has fallen upon the Hills Football Association, with three days of do-or-die football set to take over the region and determine the Champions across the age groups.
There will be 63 grand finals starting with the U12’s and progressing up the age groups before concluding with the inaugural O55’s in both the men’s and women’s age groups. Spread across four different grounds over the weekend, the best of Hills Football will be on display for the community to see.
Bernie Mullane will be used all three days of the finals on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, whilst Stringer Road Reserve will host grand finals on Friday night and Caddies Creek Reserve and Hills Centenary Park will assist with hosting grand finals on Saturday.
Due to the nature of grand finals and the heightened level of interest and expected increase in spectators around these grounds over the weekend. Patrons are reminded to leave plenty of time due to the limited parking options in and around these grounds.
There is plenty to be excited about heading into this weekend’s grand final; not only will the best of the best be versing each other for end-of-season silverware in every age group, but also the inaugural Super League final between first place Hills Spirit and second place Castle Hill United will be live-streamed on Hills Football TV on YouTube. That game is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm on Saturday, with the link to the livestream available HERE.
