Hills Football gearing up for a huge 2023 season

After a number of disrupted seasons, Hills Football and all 19 Member Clubs are gearing up for a huge 2023 Winter football season jam packed with new competitions, initiatives and events to engage existing and new members.

2023 will see some new additions and continued initiatives within our Competitions including a Masters (O45 womens and O55 mens) competition, a joint Women’s Premier League competition and the continuation of the Community Match of the Round.

Masters football has launched in the 2023 season and will feature a 7 v 7, small-sided, mid-week competition for O45 women and O55 men. This competition will see our Member Clubs enter teams to compete each week across similar rounds inline with the Winter Football season. Interested members or non-members can contact their Clubs for more details. In addition to Masters Football, the Walking Football League will continue to run in 2023. Head to https://hillsfootball.com.au/walking-football-2/ for more information.

The recently launched Women’s Premier League is also making waves. The joint competition with Blacktown District Soccer Football Association (BDSFA) and Granville District Soccer Football Association (GDSFA) will bring together teams from each area to compete at the highest Association level for females within our areas. Watch out for the live streamed matches every Sunday on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/hillsfootballinc

HFI will also continue to run the much loved Community Match of the Round with Hills Football partner UBX Training (Baulkham Hills and Bella Vista) which allows our Community teams (U12 and older) to experience a live streamed match with commentary. We thank UBX for their ongoing support with this initiative.

FIFA Women’s World Cup initiatives will be launched during key milestones of the year. This will include the roll out of the successful NSW Football Legacy Fund grants made available to both HFI and the member Clubs who were also successful with their submissions.

In addition, our recently Adopted By-Laws have also been released which provides information on a number of different points already mentioned in the above. Head to our Resources page to have a read – https://hillsfootball.com.au/resources/

If you still haven’t found a Club for the 2023 season, head to https://register.hillsfootball.com.au/ to find a Club! HFI is also pleased to announce that the Association portion of all player registration fees has also remained the same, and therefore not increased, for the 2023 season.

Also keep the look out for our following announcements of all Coach and Referee development opportunities and courses in the coming weeks.
