Hills Football elects its inaugural Board

Hills Football officially announced its inaugural board for the upcoming season, electing six Directors from the 19 clubs, as Football NSW headquarters hosted the association’s first Annual General meeting on Thursday evening.

Kamasz highlighted the importance of the night which saw the new elect directors appointed, further strengthening the new football association in the Hills area.

“Tonight was an important milestone and on behalf of all at Football NSW, I want to congratulate the successful candidates who have been elected to take this organisation forward.

“I also want to thank those other candidates who put themselves up for consideration and indeed all 19 clubs for their support and assistance to date.

“The growth and development and the future of our sport in the Hills region is now in the hands of the new Board and we wish them well.”

William Renton, Giuseppe Mirigliani, Mick Pawelko, Craig Gough, Sue Torville and Graeme Luck were officially elected as the six inaugural Directors and were joined by Football NSW’s acting Chief Executive Stefan Kamasz on the night.

In 2017, Hills Football will provide football competitions and other development activities and opportunities for an estimated 11,000 players in the Hills region of Sydney.
