Described as “one of the most prestigious tournaments in the footballing calendar” the Champions of Champions tournament is set to come alive this September, with clubs from across the Hills region getting ready to represent their clubs and the wider association against the best from the other grassroots associations in New South Wales.
Since its inception in 1968, the Football NSW Champions of Champions competition brings together every Division One premiership winner from the 16 grassroots associations to compete in a cup-style competition to determine the best grassroots team in the state.
Both the men’s and women’s teams across the age groups are presented with the opportunity to compete against the best of the best, with the men’s age groups on offer being 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, O/35, O/45, AA Men and the women’s 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 21, O/30, AA Women

Various member clubs from the Hills Football Association have tasted success in recent years at the Champions of Champions tournament, with Winston Hills winning the U17 boys title in 2016, Castle Hill United with the U16 boys title in 2018 and Castle Hill RSL Rockets claiming victory in the U13 age group in 2022. Meanwhile, in the girls’ age group, Kellyville United won the U13 girls cup in 2023, and Rouse Hill tasted glory in the U18 girls age group in 2019.
Kicking off on the 13th of September, there are four knockout rounds before culminating in Champions of Champions Finals on the 18th of October.
