You would have seen the latest update from the NSW Government which mentions specific restrictions to those working/living in certain areas. These keys changes can be found below:
• Current restrictions (based on our correspondence yesterday) will be extended to at least midnight on Friday 2 July.
• Stay at home orders for those who live or work in Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick and City of Sydney Local Government Areas.
From 11.59pm tonight until at least 11.59pm on Friday 2 July, residents of the four LGAs (City of Sydney, Randwick, Waverley, and Woollahra) must stay at home unless it is for an essential reason. The reasons you may leave your home include:
– Shopping for food or other essential goods and services;
– Medical care or compassionate needs;
– Exercise outdoors;
– Essential work or education, where you cannot work or study from home.
Based on this information, we understand that these changes/restrictions have a weighted impact on this weekend’s fixtures and competitions over all.
Because of this, Hills Football has made the decision to postpone all fixtures and football events (this does not include training and is at each clubs discretion) until 2:00pm Friday 2nd July.
We will work on rescheduling matches after this time and will send any updates and communication on any further changes once received.
We appreciate the patience and support of all our Clubs and encourage all members to continue following the updated guidelines and restrictions.
