Female Football Week will be held from the 25th May – 2nd of June in 2019.
The aim for the 2019 Female Football Week is to encourage participation and create good environments for participants across all areas of the game, including players, coaches, volunteers and referees.
We have a number of events during the week and clubs are encouraged to run events throughout the week.
Wednesday 29th of May – Coaching Course
Female Only ALDI MiniRoos Certificate- The ALDI Miniroos Coaching Certificate, which uses short, game-based sessions to introduce football to newcomers in an inclusive way.The 2 hour course, designed for kids aged five to eight years, is fully practical and encourages the coach to develop practices that are safe, fun an enjoyable.The nation-wide program puts an emphasis on natural development, being active, making life-long friends and potentially unearthing the next generation of Socceroos or Matildas.No coaching but organising FUN football exercises is the key to helping players build a love for the game. This female only course will be Held at Bella Vista Public school on the 29th of May 6:30pm – 8:30pm. This course will be run by Hills Football Zac Ribeiro Football Development Manager and Aroon Clansey Female Football Manager

Tuesday 28th May & 30th May
Female only Level 4 Referee Course – This course will be delivered by W –league referee Kelly Jones. This entry point course is aimed at referees who wish to take part in junior and youth matches. The program consists of theory modules, practical sessions and practical mentoring in matches as a referee and assistant referee.
Upon completion of all components, referees will be officially qualified as a Level 4 Referee. The qualification is valid for a period of up to 4 years. The course will take place at the Hills Football Office in Bella Vista and run from 6pm -9pm on both nights. The first 15 to register it is free of charge.
