Hills Football Grand Finals: Play Your Part in Creating a Positive Matchday

The Hills Football Grand Finals are here! Grand Finals are an opportunity to celebrate the players, teams and clubs that have worked hard throughout the season to reach the final stage.

To ensure everyone can enjoy the occasion, we ask all players, coaches, managers, volunteers and spectators to play their part in creating a safe, positive and respectful matchday environment.

Respect Everyone Involved

Our referees, volunteers, coaches and managers all play an important role in making the Grand Finals possible. Please treat everyone involved with respect, both on and off the field.

Referees will make decisions based on what they see during the match, and while not every decision will be agreed with, all participants and spectators are expected to respect the officials and allow them to do their job.

Stay in the Spectator Zones

For the safety of everyone and to ensure matches can run smoothly, spectators are asked to remain in the designated spectator areas.

Technical areas are reserved for the coaches, managers and players involved in the match. Keeping these areas clear allows team officials to support their players and helps create a safe environment around the field.

Let the Kids Play

For many of our junior players, Grand Final day is one of the biggest and most exciting moments of their season.

Let them enjoy it.

Encourage their efforts, celebrate the great moments and remember that football is for the players. Positive support from the sidelines can make a lasting difference to their experience.

Let’s Make It a Day to Remember

Grand Final day should be a celebration of everything that makes our football community special. By showing respect, supporting our players and keeping our matchday environment safe, we can ensure the focus remains where it belongs, on the game

Respect. Support. Enjoy. Let the kids play.
