Hills Football Announces Plico and Peppers, The Hills Lodge as Sponsors of the 2026 Summer Football Competition

Hills Football is proud to announce Plico, Solar + Battery + VPP, and Peppers, The Hills Lodge, as valued sponsors of the upcoming Hills Football Summer Competition, kicking off in September 2026. Their support will help deliver an inclusive, energetic and community-focused competition for junior, youth and senior players across the Hills District — a competition that turns mates into teammates.

The 2026 Hills Football Summer Competition will commence the week of 7 September and run for 10 weeks, providing players with an opportunity to stay active in the off-season, connect with friends, and enjoy a fast-paced 6-a-side format. Matches will be played across key local venues, including Arnold Avenue Reserve, Caddies Creek Reserve, Holland Reserve and Ted Horwood Reserve, with divisions available across junior, youth, men’s, women’s, mixed, master’s and walking football categories.

Hills Football CEO Jeremy Toivonen said that the support of Plico, Solar + Battery + VPP and Peppers, The Hills Lodge, reflects the strength of local partnerships and the important role community-minded organisations play in keeping football accessible, enjoyable and sustainable.

“Summer Football is one of the best examples of what our game can do for the community — it brings people together, keeps players active and gives families a positive football experience outside the winter season,” said Jeremy Toivonen, CEO of Hills Football. “We are incredibly grateful to Plico and Peppers, The Hills Lodge for backing this competition and investing in the players, families, clubs and volunteers who make football so strong in the Hills.”

The Hills Football Summer Competition continues to grow as a fun, accessible and social way to play football during the warmer months. Designed for existing players and newcomers alike, the competition’s shorter-format matches encourage high involvement, quick transitions, more touches on the ball and plenty of goals. The format also gives teams the flexibility to enjoy football in a relaxed, community environment while still competing in organised fixtures.

Hills Football thanks both Plico and Peppers, The Hills Lodge, for their generous support of the 2026 Summer Football Competition. Their contribution will assist Hills Football in providing a positive player experience, supporting volunteer delivery and continuing to build a competition that reflects the energy, diversity and spirit of the Hills District.

Registrations for the 2026 Hills Football Summer Competition are open via the official Hills Football Summer Competition registration portal. Players are encouraged to gather their teams early and secure their place ahead of the September kick-off.
