Kellyville United FC have defeated Rouse Hill Rams overnight during the Men’s Hills Cup Grand Final match, the first cup final HFI has had since 2019. Ray Williams was in attendance as the cup itself is named after him (Ray Williams Cup) in honor of his contribution to the development and support of Hills Football Association.
Both teams participate in the HFI Men’s Premier League and will play against each other again this coming weekend. The previous winner of the Men’s (Ray Williams) Cup was Castle Hill United FC back in 2019 who were knocked out in the previous round.
The Referees appointed to the match were Gavin Lee (Centre), Anthony Capaldi (Assistant Referee), Akash Wellington (Assistant Referee) and Dion Bradley (4th Official) who agreed that the Player of the Match was awarded to Kellyville United’s Jacob Bodnar. Goal scorers on the evening included:
