North West Sydney Football (NWSF) and Hills Football Incorporated (HFI) are proud to announce a partnership that will see the launch of joint Premier League Men (PLM) and Super League Men (SLM) squad-based competitions in 2026.
Following a special case variation proposed under the NWSF Constitution and supported by NWSF Clubs, the new structure will feature:
• A 12-team Premier League Men’s competition, with 10 NWSF clubs and 2 invited HFI clubs.
• A 12-team Super League Men’s competition, with 10 NWSF clubs and 2 invited HFI clubs.
This new format creates a pathway that strengthens community competition while uniting clubs from across North West Sydney and the Hills district.
Phil Brown, CEO of North West Sydney Football, said he is delighted about the partnership and the future it represents:
“We are incredibly excited to be working with Hills Football Incorporated on these new joint competitions. This structure raises the standard of football in our region and gives our players the best possible platform to showcase their skills at the highest level of community football.”
Charlotte Ercil, General Manager of Hills Football Incorporated, said the partnership provides opportunity while also supporting Hills Football’s long-term vision:
“These joint competitions ensure that Hills Football clubs with Premier League squads can participate in quality football competitions, while we continue our work to reinvigorate our own Premier League competitions. We are proud to be collaborating with North West Sydney Football to create opportunities that benefit our players, clubs, and communities.”
The Premier League Men and Super League Men joint squad-based competitions will commence in the 2026 season.
