Hills Football is supporting The Hills Shire Council’s ‘Fight for a Fairer Hills Future’ campaign which calls on the NSW Government to help fund the delivery of 40 new playing fields to meet surging demand due to the growing population.
With an additional 140,000 residents moving into the Hills in the next 10 years, population will be booming, and so will the demand for more sporting fields.
With 21 member Clubs, 14,500 winter and 6,500 combined summer football participants, Hills Football is already at capacity with the field access available to us.
To assist with this fight for more fields to ensure we can cater to our growing population, we’re encouraging all members to sign the below petition to call on the NSW Government to invest in:
- 40 new sports fields
- 45 critical road upgrades
- 14 new schools
- Fund the $207 million infrastructure deficit in Box Hill
