In 2017, The Hills Football Premier League Mens 1 competition will see 8 teams battle it out for the honors of our inaugural champion. Leading into round 1, we will be previewing each of the teams.
Hills Knights are back for 2017 and have not mucked around in getting organised. Here is their squads preview.
The Knights Premier League squad in 2017 has been strengthened this year with the core of the team playing football together last year and further depth this year added with new senior players joining the team.
This season the club is even more committed to making a Premier League side an integral part of the future for the Knights and for these players to be an inspiration for our younger teams. The Club has invested heavily in drawing two very senior Coaches to the Club who are well known in the Hills that bring a dynamic mix of high level playing experience and coaching expertise. Luis Contigiani will be acting as a technical consultant to support the coaching staff and share his football experience as both an international player and NPL coach.
The boys have been training hard since December to develop match fitness and integrate the new players into the team. The new squad is a well-rounded combination of skill, agility and field presence the club is very excited at what we have seen in trial games so far.
