Hills Football is continually searching for casual Football Coaches to help deliver and support our programs around the district. Coaches are required to have a sound understanding of child behaviour, with a passion for player development in football. In order to ensure regular work, we offer our coaches the opportunity to be a part of more than one of our programs. We believe that regular coaching throughout the year equals consistent coaching for our academy players.

Hills Football Coach Requirements

  • Available during the week Monday to Friday
  • Available to work some nights during the week
  • Self-reliant transport
  • Energetic and creative personality
  • Passionate about football and player development
  • Has a deep interest and aptitude for coaching. Possesses great communication and organisational skills to provide enjoyment through football for juniors
  • Works well in a team and on their own
  • Creates an enjoyable environment for players to play, learn and socialise through football
  • A strong sense of commitment and responsibility
  • Working with children check

Hills Football Will Provide

  • Hills Football will assist all coaches with their professionally development providing training via FFA community coaching certificates
  • Hills Football will provide all session plans and equipment specific to each program
  • Hills Football will provide mentoring and ongoing support via Football Development Manager and technical department
  • All coaches will be given Hills Football attire to wear when delivering programs

Hills Football Coach Rewards

  • Hourly coaching rate dependent;
  • Jr coach no qualifications $20 p/h
  • Jr coach minimum qualifications $25 p/h
  • Intermediate coach with qualifications $30-35 p/h
  • Senior coach with qualifications $35-45 p/h
  • Fully accredited coach $50 p/h
  • Potential community coaching certificates
  • Long term coaching opportunities within the Association
